A place of Honor A Place of Honor, Gail Salituri paints Pomo Gail Brown


Gail Brown, a Pomo Dancer was created by Artist Gail Saliuri in 1989. The hsitorical painting is part of the "Pomo Collection" created by Gail Salituri. This original oil size 18x24 is permanently owned and displayed in the Robinson Rancheria and Casino in Upper Lake California. This honorable display is adorned with Pomo Baskets and Artifacts, a collection which the Casino owns. "I feel honored that the Casino has placed such a high value on my work and has made it visible to all" states Gail Salituri". Gail Brown, the dancer was photographed by the artist, with permission, at a Pow Wow. Along by her side was a small child which remains in the Private Collection owned by the artist
